Tropical Climate. I’ve heard its brutality hot in May because of the heat & humidity, with the Spring & Summer months being hot, so I'm choosing to visit the months of October to March for the cooler weather and festivities, plus it fits into my schedule.
Visiting in the warmer months, just don’t over plan because something you won’t expect will be ready for you to explore. Be prepared to want to relax by the pools, Cenotes or beach to cool off. Dry season is November to April, but can have light showers occasionally, but it’s still pleasant unless the cold front comes in for a few days.
